INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Download CeMap_ver_1_6_6.zip file and save it in a temporary folder of your PC
   
2. Unpack the .zip file with Winzip or other similar compression software. The folders “2577” and “NavApp” will be created.
   
3. If not already present on your PC, install Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 application (you can find it on your PocketPC installation CD or you can download it directly from Microsoft's website (download page here), reboot your PC after installation..
   
4. Connect your PocketPC to your PC, via USB cable, or bluetooth or Infrared port if present (see your PocketPC manual for details).
   
5. Double click on PocketPC device icon (you shoul find it in MyComputer)
   
6. Browse your PockePC memory and identify the SD card folder
   
   

   ALTERNATIVE PROCEDURE for steps 3,4,5,6. If you have an SD memory card reader connected to your PC, remove the SD card from PocketPC and plug it into SD card reader's slot. Double click on the removable device icon displayed on MyComputer

   
   
7. Browse to SD card root folder. You will find “2577” and “NavApp” folders inside. ATTENTION: Do not delete, rename or move " CHARTS" folder in SD root folder!!
   
8. Copy “2577” and “NavApp” folders from the temporary folder in your PC (see step 2) ) to SD root folder (see step 7). A message will be shown, asking if you want to overwrite all the files with the same name in destination folder, click on "yes"
   
9. When file transfer is completed, close PocketPC - PC connection (see PocketPc user manual)
   
   If you've used an SD memory card reader, simply remove the SD from the reader's slot and place it again into you PocketPC
   
10. Reboot your PocketPC (see PocketPC user manual for reboot procedure). After rebooting your software is updated to v.1.1.
